Benchmark Senior Living in Roseland, NJ is seeking a Per Diem Front Desk Receptionist to serve as the information hub for residents, families, staff, and visitors. The role includes greeting guests, handling phone calls, and supporting light computer tasks.

You will manage appointment books, act as a concierge for residents, keep the lobby tidy, and participate in the benefits program. A high school diploma and strong telephone skills are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Expert knowledge of telephone system and ability to teach others.

Responsibilities

• Greets visitors immediately upon arrival.
• Professionally handles all phone calls and routes callers or answers questions in a timely and courteous manner.
• Offers refreshments to visitors where applicable.
• Manages doctor appointment book.
• Manages beauty and barber appointment book.
• Acts as concierge for residents (calling taxis, handling telephone and/or cable problems, checking newspaper deliveries, etc.).
• Keeps lobby clean and neat, free of clutter and trash.
