Job summary

Charter Senior Living of Jackson is seeking a friendly Receptionist to be the first contact for residents, visitors, and staff, delivering excellent service and support in a busy senior living community.

You will handle clerical tasks, assist the Business Office Director, support HR onboarding, maintain confidentiality under HIPAA, and help create a warm, organized front desk experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in a healthcare or senior living setting preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Typing proficiency with ten-key adding machine.
• Physical ability to sit for long periods and lift up to 20 pounds occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Greet residents, visitors and staff with a positive, service-oriented approach.
• Perform basic clerical tasks: typing, filing, data entry and light bookkeeping.
• Collaborate with the Business Office Director to provide efficient administrative support.
• Assist with onboarding new team members and HR responsibilities.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines.
