Job summary

Evolve Senior Living is seeking a Plant Operations Associate to oversee the building’s upkeep and infrastructure, ensuring safety and reliability across all facilities.

You will support the Director of Plant Operations, coordinate with contractors, perform carpentry, plumbing, electrical and groundswork, and help prepare spaces for new residents.

This role requires practical know-how, strong English communication, and stamina to work a full shift in a dynamic senior living environment.

Qualifications

• Education: High School diploma or equivalent.
• Plumbing knowledge to address leaks, clogs, or other drainage problems.
• Electrical wiring capabilities to manage problems with the building’s electricity.
• Carpentry ability to handle basic repairs around the building.
• Groundskeeping for lawns or other outdoor areas.
• Interpersonal skills to interact with residents or staff pleasantly.
• Attention to detail to ensure safe, quality work.
• Physical stamina for a full shift of active building duties.
• Strong command of English (read/write).

Responsibilities

• Oversee facility and grounds upkeep and repairs.
• Set up contractors and follow up on projects as needed.
• Assist the Director of Plant Operations with the emergency preparedness plan.
• Prepare residents’ rooms for moving in.
• Conduct maintenance, service, and repairs in carpentry, painting, plastering, and machine servicing.
• Assist with capital expenditure projects and coordinate with vendors.
• Communicate project updates to leadership.
• Repair and maintain plumbing fixtures and general maintenance.
