Job summary

Evolve Senior Living is seeking a Plant Operations Associate in Blue Ash, OH, to oversee the building’s upkeep, safety, and infrastructure. You will handle repairs, coordinate with contractors, and support the Director of Plant Operations in emergency planning and capital projects.

Qualified candidates have a HS diploma or equivalent, basic plumbing/electrical/carpentry skills, and a commitment to safety, teamwork, and clear communication with residents and staff.

Qualifications

• Education: High School diploma or equivalent.
• Plumbing knowledge to address leaks, clogs, or other drainage problems.
• Electrical wiring capabilities to manage problems with the building’s electricity.
• Carpentry ability to handle basic repairs around the building.
• Groundskeeping if the facility contains lawns or other outdoor areas in need of maintenance.
• Interpersonal skills to interact with employees or residents of the building in a pleasant manner.
• Attention to detail to ensure that all jobs are completed in an exemplary manner and any potential hazards or warning signs of problems are not overlooked.
• Physical stamina to handle a full shift of being active and working on the building.
• Must have a strong understanding of the English language, sufficient to speak, read and write.

• Responsible for performing facility and grounds upkeep, cleaning, and repairs.
• Set up contractors and follow up with them on projects as needed.
• Assist the Director of Plant Operations with the emergency preparedness plan.
• Prepare residents’ rooms for moving in.
• Conduct maintenance, service, and repairs in the areas of carpentry, painting, plastering, and machine servicing.
• Assists Director of Plant Operations with capital expenditure projects by working closely with the vendors to ensure the project runs smoothly. Performs quality assurance checks and addressed deviations promptly.
• Communicates capital expenditure project updates to Executive Director and Support Center as needed.
• Repair and maintain plumbing fixtures such as toilets, urinals, and sinks.
• Manage routine maintenance, repairs, and housekeeping when needed.
• Performs other duties consistent with the position as assigned.
