Job summary

Kisco Senior Living seeks an Environmental Services Director for our Louisville community. Lead maintenance, grounds, and safety programs across multiple buildings, ensuring regulatory compliance and high resident living standards.

You will manage vendors, budgets, and staffing while delivering excellence in property operations. Strong leadership, project management, and life safety knowledge are required to succeed in this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 6–8 years related experience in maintenance/operational leadership.
• Experience in Senior Living, maintenance management, or housekeeping management is a plus.
• Proficient in Excel and related systems.
• Knowledge of Life Safety systems (fire alarms, sprinklers, Ansul).
• Vendor and project management experience; capital budgets and expenditures.

Responsibilities

• Proactively manage the physical condition of the community.
• Oversee maintenance, landscape, and safety compliance.
• Manage vendor and contractor relationships.
• Ensure Safety & Disaster Preparedness Plan and regulatory compliance.
• Procure equipment, supplies, and furnishings; maintain inventory.
• Interview, hire, train, and manage associates; develop staffing schedules.
• Oversee apartment turnover, move-ins/outs, and related processes.
