Job summary

Avanti Senior Living at Covington is seeking a Maintenance Director responsible for quality maintenance care aligned with regulations. You will lead a team to keep the building, interior, and grounds in exceptional condition.

Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, supervision of housekeeping, apartment refurbishment, safety compliance, and emergency response. The role requires English fluency, customer service focus, and flexibility in a 24-hour operation.

Qualifications

• Proficient in written and verbal English.
• Demonstration of ability to establish long-term relationships.
• Interest in working with the older adult population.
• Knowledge of laws/restrictions regarding Assisted Living care.

Responsibilities

• Implement and document preventative maintenance program for community and equipment.
• Supervise housekeeping personnel as required.
• Maintain grounds including outside building repair and lawn maintenance.
• Maintain all areas inside the building including offices and carpeting.
• Maintain and oversee repair of facility equipment.
• Train team members in equipment use and safety procedures.
• Prepare and refurbish apartments for resident move-ins.
