Job summary

StoryPoint Group in Indiana seeks an Executive Director to lead a Senior Assisted Living community, ensuring safety, belonging, and peace of mind for residents and families. The role blends financial stewardship with outstanding hospitality and servant leadership.

You will communicate openly, build relationships, oversee hiring and training, and partner with sales to move residents in. Some travel may be required and familiarity with licensing and federal regulations is essential.

Qualifications

• Must hold necessary state-specific certification for Licensed Assisted Living or equivalent.
• Demonstrates passion for leading and developing people and promoting excellent service to residents.
• Excellent hospitality skills with sensitivity to aging residents and families.
• Ability to communicate clearly, in writing and speech, and work well with diverse publics.

Responsibilities

• Drives culture within the community, modeling servant leadership behaviors.
• Regularly connects with residents to ensure Safety, Belonging, Something to Look Forward to, and Peace of Mind.
• Oversees financial health of the community and partners with sales to attract residents.
• Leads other functional leaders and supports hiring, training, performance management, and separations.
• Maintains positive relationships with residents and families and ensures regulatory compliance.
• Oversees resident move-ins, lease signings, and collaboration with departments to meet resident needs.
• Ensures 85% of community concerns are addressed at the local level and coordinates with leadership for surveys.
• Occasional travel may be required and office on-site presence is expected.
