Job summary

StoryPoint is seeking an Executive Director to lead a senior living community with a focus on safety, belonging, and exceptional service. The role encompasses culture, resident relations, and fiscal stewardship to ensure a thriving community for residents and families.

You will supervise leadership teams, drive regulatory compliance, and collaborate with sales to grow occupancy while maintaining high standards of care and community operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, health care, gerontology, or equivalent experience.
• Fulfillment of any necessary state-specific certification for Licensed Assisted Living or equivalent.
• Demonstrates passion for leading and developing people while delivering excellent service to residents.
• Exceptional hospitality skills with sensitivity to aging adults and families.
• Dedication to helping others and making a difference in residents' lives.
• Exceptional ability to form meaningful relationships with residents, team members and families.
• Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing.
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Drives culture within the community and models servant leadership.
• Regularly connects with residents to ensure Safety, Belonging, and Peace of Mind.
• Responsible for the overall financial health of the community.
• Leads other functional leaders within the community.
• Supports hiring, training, performance management and separations.
• Maintains positive relationships with residents and families.
• Supports the sales process to convert prospective residents and partners.
• Oversees lease signings and Move-in-Momentum across departments.
• Conducts monthly Resident Forums and daily stand-ups to address concerns.
• Supports meetings involving resident care with other leaders.
• Partner with leaders to solve 85% of concerns at the community level.
• Ensures ongoing compliance with state and federal regulations.
