Job summary

StoryPoint in Grand Rapids, MI seeks a seasoned Executive Director to oversee a senior living community. You will lead operations, uphold safety and service standards, manage finances, and build strong relationships with residents, families, and staff.

Travel may be required as you guide teams and ensure quality care. Successful candidates will demonstrate state-specific licensing knowledge, hospitality excellence, and strong leadership skills to drive a positive, compliant, and engaging

Qualifications

• Must hold state-specific certification for Licensed Assisted Living or equivalent.
• Demonstrates passion for leading and developing people while promoting excellent service delivery to residents.
• Exceptional hospitality skills with sensitivity to aging adults and their families.
• Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Drive culture within the community and model servant leadership.
• Regularly connect with residents to ensure Safety, Belonging, Something to Look Forward to and Peace of Mind.
• Oversee financial health of the community.
• Lead other functional leaders and support HR processes.
• Collaborate with sales to convert prospective residents and maintain partnerships.
• Ensure lease signings and move-in momentum with cross-department collaboration.
• Conduct monthly Resident Forums to address concerns.
• Lead daily stand-ups to review and address community issues.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and prepare for surveys.
