Job summary

The Arbor Company is seeking an Executive Director for Arbor Terrace Basking Ridge, NJ. You will lead the community with full P&L accountability, driving resident care, occupancy, and team performance.

A NJ CALA license and a Bachelor's degree are preferred, with at least three years in senior living leadership. You will recruit and coach leaders, partner with Sales and Marketing, ensure regulatory compliance, and create a welcoming, high-performing environment that delivers exceptional

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred and NJ CALA license required.
• 3+ years in senior living operations leadership, preferably at the Executive Director/Administrator level.
• Proven P&L, budgeting, occupancy, and financial goals experience.
• Ability to build and retain high-performing leadership teams.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Knowledge of senior living regulations and HR practices.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations and full P&L accountability.
• Set the tone for the community, ensuring resident care and engagement.
• Lead operations, financial performance, occupancy, and compliance.
• Recruit, coach, and retain department leaders.
• Partner with Sales/Marketing to support occupancy goals.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and a safe environment.
• Drive continuous improvement in ops and resident experience.
