Job summary

Cedarhurst Senior Living in McHenry, IL is seeking an Executive Director to lead the community’s daily operations, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive financial and occupancy performance. You will oversee multiple departments, set strategic direction, and partner with local partners to uphold Cedarhurst’s mission.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Minimum 2-3 years of management experience preferred, with senior living experience strongly desired.
• Applicable state licensure is required.
• CPR or BLS certification preferred.
• Experience with accounting functions such as accounts payable and receivable, posting ledgers, balancing and reconciling accounts.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, web-based platforms, and electronic health record systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the Community including P&L, marketing, sales, regulatory compliance, and resident satisfaction.
• Lead and develop department heads and staff across all functions.
• Drive occupancy growth and align with the Director of Sales and Nursing to conduct tours and weekly prospect meetings.
