The Aspenwood Company - Village On the Park Plano is seeking an experienced culinary professional to lead dining services in a senior living environment. You will supervise kitchen and dining staff, set standards, and guide the team to deliver high-quality meals for residents, employees, and guests.

Responsibilities include hiring, performance management, schedule optimization, and ensuring safety and sanitation.

Qualifications

• Associate degree, Culinary Degree or 5+ years related experience or equivalent combination of education/training and experience.
• 5+ years as a Chef.
• Serve Safe Certified.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Must pass a background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Supervision of kitchen and dining staff and daily operations.
• Participate in hiring, discipline, assessment, and termination of direct reports.
• Develop and maintain staff schedules to ensure coverage.
• Prepare, portion, garnish, and store food to meet quality standards.
• Control food costs through standardized recipes and portioning.
