Job summary

The Aspenwood Company - Village On the Park Plano in Houston area is seeking an experienced Executive Chef to lead our dining services in a senior living environment. You will guide menu planning, supervise staff, and ensure exceptional resident and guest dining experiences.

Ideal candidates have extensive chef management background, strong budgeting skills, and a proven track record in senior living or healthcare dining.

Qualifications

• Culinary degree preferred.
• Five+ years as an Executive Chef.
• Three+ years of management/administrative experience; preferred as Assistant Director.
• Three to five years’ experience in senior living dining services."

Responsibilities

• Plan and supervise dining services activities for residents, employees, and guests.
• Provide technical guidance on food planning, menu formulation, and preparation of regular and therapeutic diets.
• Supervise and evaluate staff across food prep and service.
• Develop and monitor the dining services budget for cost control and quality.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards.
• Coordinate with other departments for events and cohesive dining experiences.
• Train and mentor dining services staff to foster a positive work environment.
• Address dining services issues to ensure resident and guest satisfaction.
