Job summary

The Aspenwood Company in Houston, TX seeks an experienced culinary leader to plan and supervise dining services for residents, employees, and guests in a senior living environment. You will guide menus, diets, and service quality, while developing budgets and ensuring health and safety standards.

Ideal candidate has 5+ years as an Executive Chef with 3+ years in management, preferably as an Assistant Director including budgeting. Culinary degree preferred.

Qualifications

• Culinary degree preferred.
• 5+ years as Executive Chef with 3+ years in management (Assistant Director preferred) including budgeting.
• 3–5 years in senior living dining services.

Responsibilities

• Plan and supervise dining services activities for residents, employees and guests.
• Provide guidance on food planning, menu formulation, and diets.
• Supervise and evaluate dining staff and activities.
• Develop and monitor the dining budget and ensure cost control.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and sanitation standards.
• Coordinate with departments to support community events.
• Train and mentor dining services staff.
• Address and resolve dining service issues to ensure satisfaction.
