Qualifications

• 3+ years experience in a kitchen managerial position
• Culinary Arts degree, or related degree
• Experience in volume food production within a commercial kitchen
• Experience and discipline in creating fine food for a multitude of palettes
• Experience managing and leading staff
• Previous experience in working with older adults

Responsibilities

• Prepare and supervise daily food preparation following weekly menus
• Oversee all aspects of food preparation and service per menu plans
• Train and direct staff; ensure safe handling and sanitation procedures
• Monitor portion control to meet budget while satisfying dietary needs
• Support marketing events and catering needs as required
• Maintain high quality presentation and timely delivery of meals
