Dial Senior Living in Lincoln, NE is seeking a dedicated cook to independently prepare meals and manage daily food production. You will support the Sous or Executive Chef to ensure high-quality dining and strict safety standards.

This role requires at least 2 years cooking experience in senior living, healthcare, or a restaurant, with strong knowledge of food safety and the ability to stand for long periods while lifting up to 40 lbs.

Aufgaben

• Prepare and cook a variety of meals for residents with attention to quality and presentation.
• Alter or adapt recipes to accommodate special dining needs of residents or to improve recipes.
• Ensure attractive presentation of food on the plate before serving.
• Identify food and supplies needed for the next week’s menus and report to the supervisor.
• Participate in new menu and special menu planning.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of work area and kitchen/storage areas.
• Ensure proper handling, labeling and storage of food for infection control.
