Job summary

The Village At Germantown in Germantown, TN seeks a Security/EMT to ensure a safe environment for residents and staff. Under the supervision of the Security/EMT Manager, you will respond to emergencies, perform CPR, and support evacuation planning for daily operations.

Requires EMT Certification (Basic/Advanced) and CPR, 3–5 years EMT experience, and a valid driver’s license. Benefits include health and retirement offerings for a stable environment serving senior residents.

Qualifications

• EMT Basic or Advanced EMT certification with CPR certification.
• 3–5 years of EMT experience required.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Knowledge of regulatory healthcare inspection processes.

Responsibilities

• Respond to and evaluate emergency calls for appropriate protocol and service.
• Provide CPR and use equipment to extend life until paramedics arrive.
• Dispatch ambulance or medical transport as needed per protocol.
• Patrol premises to prevent intrusion and ensure security of doors/windows.
• Investigate fire alarms and accompany fire department as needed.
• Document incidents and daily activities in reports.
