Job summary

Acts Retirement-Life Communities in Matthews, NC is seeking a Security Guard / EMT to protect residents, team members, and property through proactive patrols, access control, and monitoring cameras.

You will respond to medical emergencies, provide basic and advanced pre-hospital care within EMT scope, and maintain a visible presence to deter incidents. A valid driver’s license is required, and EMT certification must be current or obtained within six months of employment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum of one year of experience in security, law enforcement, emergency medical services, or a related field.
• Current EMT certification in good standing (or ability to obtain within six months).
• Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Protect residents, team members, visitors, and property through proactive patrols and monitoring security cameras.
• Control access to facilities and respond to life-safety incidents.
• Respond to medical emergencies and provide basic and advanced pre-hospital emergency medical care within EMT scope.
