Job summary

Linden Ponds by Erickson Senior Living seeks a Security and Emergency Services Officer II (EMR/EMT) to protect residents and property at our gated retirement community. You will patrol the grounds, monitor access, and respond to a variety of emergency and routine calls.

The role requires current CPR for Healthcare Providers and EMR certification, a valid driver's license, and the ability to obtain EMR within 30 days. Training and growth opportunities are available as we expand our communities.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Possess and maintain a valid driver’s license.
• Current CPR for Healthcare Providers certification.
• Current Emergency Medical Responder certification with potential requirement to obtain EMR within 30 days.
• Experience in Security and/or Emergency Medical Services preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform regular patrols of the property and respond to emergency and routine calls.
• Enforce traffic and parking regulations.
• Respond to calls for service from dispatch and security.
• Respond to medical emergencies and provide efficient care.
• Follow up on reports of missing items, theft, vandalism, and potential criminal activity.
• Coordinate with local police, fire, and EMS during emergencies.
• Complete thorough incident reports using the online system.
