Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living is seeking a Driver to provide safe, timely transportation for residents and ensure comfort and vehicle safety on every trip. You will assist residents in and out of vehicles, perform pre-trip inspections, log driving records, and maintain clean, safe vehicles.

The role requires a HS Diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, CPR as required, and strong communication plus time-management skills. You will operate wheelchair lifts and align with safety standards.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• CPR certification as required by the role.
• Strong communication and time management skills.
• Ability to stay calm in emergencies.
• Ability to operate a wheelchair lift and secure mobility devices.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe transportation to appointments and outings.
• Assist residents in and out of vehicles and to destinations.
• Maintain focus on safe driving at all times.
• Conduct pre-trip and monthly vehicle inspections.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and safety equipment.
• Complete required driving logs and documentation.
• Report resident changes in condition.
• Follow OSHA, infection control, and safety standards.
