Job summary

Provincial Senior Living seeks a Driver to transport residents to activities and events, ensuring safety and comfort. You will assist riders, secure equipment, and communicate with the base team to maintain reliable service.

This role requires a high school diploma, a valid CDL may be required, and a strong safety mindset. Prior customer service in a senior living setting is preferred; apply for a full-time position with opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Experience in a customer service environment, preferably with seniors.
• Able to manage time and priorities in a transportation setting.
• Knowledge of safety procedures and ability to follow them.
• Active communication and teamwork with residents and staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide timely and courteous transportation for residents to/from activities.
• Assist passengers, including helping disabled riders into/out of the vehicle.
• Secure wheelchairs to restraints to ensure safety during trips.
• Operate radio or other devices to communicate with base or other vehicles.
• Maintain vehicles in good working condition and report any issues.
• Clean and service vehicle with fuel and lubricants as needed.
• Assist with vehicle registration and license plate renewals.
• Inspect and document vehicle condition monthly and per trip.
