Job summary

Harmony Senior Services is seeking a dedicated dining server to courteously serve meals to residents and guests in a luxury senior living setting. You will assist with menu choices, beverage service, and maintaining dining room cleanliness.

The role requires teamwork, attention to instructions, and a willingness to work flexible hours. As part of Harmony’s compassionate care team, you will support residents with mobility and memory needs while upholding confidentiality and respectful

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and follow simple instructions.
• Must possess ability to perform simple, repetitive tasks.
• Must be able to learn quickly and apply learned principles.
• Must be able to communicate effectively and work under close supervision.

Responsibilities

• Serve residents and guests courteously, taking orders and delivering meals.
• Assist with menu item selection and beverage service.
• Refill condiments and maintain cleanliness of dining room.
• Maintain proper food storage and labeling practices.
• Sweep, mop, and vacuum kitchen and dining areas.
• Attend required in-services and staff meetings.
• Follow confidentiality policies regarding resident information.
• Interact with residents, guests, coworkers and supervisors in a polite manner.
• Support tray service as needed.
• Flexibly schedule to include evenings, weekends and holidays.
