Job summary

Healthcare Services Group, Inc. is seeking a Food Service Director to lead the dining services at a long-term care facility. You will oversee the food service program, ensure quality, safety, and regulatory compliance, and manage inventory, staff, and reporting using HCSG software.

In this role you will train staff, coordinate with facility management and client managers, and ensure excellent dining experiences for residents while maintaining cost controls and adherence to menus and policies.

Qualifications

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Residency within the service area required.
• Basic computer skills and web-based reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead the site food service program, ensuring quality and safety.
• Maintain records of income, expenditures, supplies, personnel, and equipment.
• Train staff and perform roles as needed (dietary aide, cook, dishwasher).
• Communicate directives to staff from clients and administrators.
• Ensure safety, sanitation and infection control procedures.
• Maintain attendance and punctuality; represent HCSG professionally.
• All other duties as assigned.
