Job summary

The Dining Server at Cedarhurst Senior Living will deliver exceptional dining experiences for residents and guests, ensuring courteous service, cleanliness, and adherence to safety standards.

You will support daily meal service and special events, assist with food preparation, and collaborate with team members to uphold Cedarhurst's dining standards while communicating residents' needs to the team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Up to two years of prior experience preferred, with senior living experience strongly desired.
• Relevant state or county licensure preferred, with the ability to obtain licensure if required by the state in which employed.
• CPR or BLS certification preferred.
• Proficiency in common digital tools including Microsoft Office and HR/eHR platforms.

Responsibilities

• Provide courteous table service and dining assistance for residents and guests.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary dining area and adhere to food safety standards.
• Assist with catering, room service, events and marketing functions.
• Follow recipes and label checks to ensure consistency in food/beverages.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff to support wellbeing.
