Job summary

The Dining Server at Cedarhurst Living in Springfield, MO delivers courteous, efficient table service and maintains cleanliness and safety in dining areas, supporting special events and daily meals with residents and guests.

You will follow Cedarhurst dining standards, assist with meal prep and cost-control, communicate menu details, and adapt service to individual resident preferences while upholding our commitment to quality and resident wellbeing.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Up to two years of prior experience preferred, especially in senior living.
• CPR or BLS certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with catering, room service, special events and marketing functions, ensuring resident satisfaction.
• Promptly take food and beverage orders and deliver service courteously and efficiently.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary work area by washing pots, pans and utensils; follow food safety standards.
• Clear, sanitize and reset tables; complete daily checklists to ensure dining areas are well maintained.
• Assist with cleaning dining areas, floors, tables and chairs after meals and events; sweep, vacuum and mop as needed.
• Communicate menu details and adapt service to meet resident dining preferences and needs.
