Job summary

Cedarhurst Senior Living is seeking a Dining Server to deliver exceptional dining experiences for residents and guests, ensuring cleanliness and safety in all dining areas. You will support daily meal service, assist with events, and help maintain quality service standards throughout the shift.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, with up to two years' prior dining or senior living experience preferred. CPR/BLS is a plus, and proficiency with MS Office tools is expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Up to two years of prior dining or senior living experience preferred.
• CPR or BLS certification preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office tools and electronic health record systems as applicable.
• Ability to obtain required state licensure if needed.

Responsibilities

• Take food and beverage orders promptly and deliver service courteously.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary work area and follow food safety standards.
• Assist with catering, room service, and special events when needed.
• Clear, sanitize, and reset tables and complete daily checklists.
• Support cost-control by minimizing waste and handling supplies responsibly.
