Job summary

Cedarhurst Senior Living is seeking a Dining Server to deliver exceptional dining experiences for residents and guests. You will provide courteous table service, maintain cleanliness, and support events while upholding Cedarhurst’s dining standards.

Responsibilities include taking orders, assisting with food prep and cost control, and ensuring safety and sanitation. Prior senior living experience and CPR/BLS are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Up to two years of prior experience preferred, with senior living experience strongly desired.
• CPR or BLS certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with catering, room service, special events, and marketing functions, ensuring smooth execution and resident satisfaction.
• Promptly take food and beverage orders and deliver service to residents and guests in a courteous, accurate, and efficient manner.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary work area by washing pots, pans, and utensils used in meal preparation, following all food safety standards.
• Clear, sanitize, and reset tables; dispose of trash and clean containers; and complete daily checklists to ensure kitchen and dining areas are consistently maintained.
• Assist with cleaning dining areas, including floors, tables, and chairs after meals and events, and ensure sweeping, vacuuming, and mopping are completed at the end of each shift.
