Job summary

Cedarhurst Senior Living is seeking a Dining Server to provide courteous, efficient table service for residents and guests, while upholding high cleanliness and safety standards in dining areas.

The role supports daily meals and events, assists with food preparation and cost controls, and collaborates with team members to deliver exceptional dining experiences that reflect the company’s commitment to resident wellbeing.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Up to two years of prior experience preferred, senior living experience strongly desired.
• Relevant state or county licensure preferred, with ability to obtain licensure if required.
• CPR or BLS certification preferred.
• Proficient in common digital tools and applications, including Microsoft Office and electronic health record systems.

Responsibilities

• Assist with catering, room service, special events, and marketing functions, ensuring resident satisfaction.
• Promptly take food and beverage orders and deliver service to residents and guests in a courteous, accurate, and efficient manner.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary work area by washing pots, pans, and utensils and following food safety standards.
• Clear, sanitize, and reset tables and complete daily checklists to ensure dining areas are maintained.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff to support positive relationships and resident wellbeing.
