Job summary

Cedarhurst Senior Living is seeking a Dining Server to deliver exceptional dining experiences for residents and guests. The role emphasizes courteous service, adherence to food safety standards, and collaboration with the dining team to maintain high-quality service.

Qualified candidates should have a high school diploma, up to two years of related experience (senior living a plus), CPR/BLS where required, and proficiency with MS Office and EHR systems.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Up to two years of prior experience preferred, with senior living experience strongly desired.
• Licensure (state or county) preferred, with ability to obtain if required.
• CPR or BLS certification preferred.
• Proficiency in MS Office, web-based platforms, EHR and HR systems.

Responsibilities

• Assist with catering, room service, special events to ensure resident satisfaction.
• Take food and beverage orders and deliver service courteously and efficiently.
• Maintain a clean, sanitary work area following all food safety standards.
• Clear, sanitize, and reset tables; complete daily checklists for kitchen and dining areas.
• Assist with cleaning dining areas, floors, tables, and chairs after meals and events.
• Communicate menu details to residents and guests.
