Job summary

Harmony Senior Services in Pennsylvania seeks a friendly server to assist residents with meals, take orders, and provide beverage service. You will help with tray service, dining room setup, and maintain confidentiality and respectful interactions.

The role requires standing for extended periods, lifting up to 50 lbs, and working flexible evenings, weekends, and holidays. We value teamwork, safety, and high-quality resident care.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and follow simple instructions.
• Must possess ability to perform simple, repetitive tasks.
• Must learn quickly and apply learned principles.
• Must be able to communicate effectively and work under close supervision.
• Must be able to bend, reach, grasp, push and pull objects.
• Must be able to stand and walk for sustained periods up to three hours.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs on a regular basis.
• Must be organized and willing to work well with other team members.
• Must be willing to work a flexible schedule that includes evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Serve resident and guest meals courteously, assist with menu orders.
• Provide beverage service (water, iced tea, juices, milk, coffee/tea).
• Assist with tray service and dining room cleanup.
• Report any broken equipment or tableware to supervisor.
• Understand sit-down service and proper serving techniques.
• Maintain food storage and labeling as required.
• Interacts politely with residents, guests, co-workers, and supervisors.
• Attend required in-services and staff meetings.
