Job summary

Harmony Senior Services in Glenshaw, PA is seeking a friendly dining server to courteously serve meals to residents and guests and help with dining-room cleanup after each meal.

You will assist residents with menu selections, provide beverages, maintain table settings, and follow proper serving techniques. The role requires physical stamina, good communication, teamwork, and a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and follow simple instructions.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs and carry heavy objects for 20 feet.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents when placing orders from the menu.
• Provide beverage service.
• Maintain cleanliness of dining room and kitchen.
• Refill supplies and restock as needed.
• Report broken equipment to supervisor.
• Follow sit-down service and proper serving techniques.
• Attend in-services and staff meetings.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident information.
• Interact politely with residents, guests, co-workers and supervisors.
• Assist with tray service.
• Adhere to flexible scheduling including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
