Job summary

Wesley Willows Corporation in Rockford, IL is seeking a Dining Operations Lead to supervise daily front-of-house dining, resident relations, and events, ensuring compliance with regulations and quality standards.

You will support FOH staffing, onboarding, scheduling, coaching, and performance, manage inventory and vendor relations, oversee the POS system and cash handling, and lead daily staff meetings with a focus on service, safety, and sanitation.

Qualifications

• High-volume FOH/restaurant experience required.
• Excellent customer service skills with de-escalation abilities.
• Strong multitasking, prioritization, and organizational skills.
• Comfort with computers and emailing; quick response times.
• ServSafe certification preferred.
• Food Handler's Card required and obtainable onsite within 30 days.
• Valid Driver's License required.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily front-of-house dining operations, resident relationships, and special events.
• Support FOH staffing: onboarding, scheduling, coaching, and performance with Dining Operations Manager and HR.
• Manage FOH inventory, vendor relations, and budget-conscious ordering.
• Oversee POS system, menu accuracy, opening/closing procedures, and cash handling.
• Lead daily staff meetings and shift huddles; train FOH staff on service, safety, and sanitation.
• Monitor dining quality and maintain strong FOH/BOH communication and morale.
• Ensure compliance through audits, safety logs, and food handler certifications.
