Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (required).
• Active ServeSafe/Food Safety Managers Certification (required).
• Must be 18 years of age to operate potentially hazardous equipment (required).
• 2 years of institutional cooking in long-term care or assisted living (required).
• Institutional cooking, with fine dining experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook a variety of foods per menus, dietary requirements, and safety standards.
• Operate kitchen equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen area.
• Assist with food storage and inventory.
• Support special functions and events.
• Collaborate with dining services team to ensure quality service.
• Uphold a safe, efficient, customer-focused kitchen environment.
