Job summary

Discovery Senior Living seeks a seasoned Hospitality Manager to lead dining experiences and guest services at Fountainwood at Lake Houston in Atascocita, TX. You will partner with the Executive Chef to drive hospitality excellence across front-of-house dining, training, and resident engagement.

You will supervise staff, manage scheduling and budgets, and participate in events, ensuring top-tier service and resident satisfaction in a dynamic senior living setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of three years of fine dining experience.
• Minimum of two years of supervisory or management experience.
• State and/or Federal Food Handling and Sanitation certification.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to analyze data and improve service quality.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule.
• Experience leading and motivating teams to deliver high service standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead hospitality strategies and dining initiatives with Executive Chef and Culinary Services Director.
• Support operational and culinary teams to deliver superior resident and guest experiences.
• Develop and communicate hospitality training for front-of-house staff.
• Supervise front-of-house scheduling, performance, and coaching.
• Interview, hire, and train front-of-house staff; assist with back-of-house interviews.
• Manage front-of-house labor budgets and inventory.
• Plan and execute special events, banquets, and beverage programs.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Activities, and leadership for resident events.
• Ensure dining operations meet satisfaction and health benchmarks.
