Spring Gardens Assisted Living in Heber, UT is seeking a full-time EXPERIENCED HEAD CHEF WHO WOULD LIKE TO MAKE AN IMMEDIATE IMPACT IN OUR RESIDENTS' LIVES BY PROVIDING DELICIOUS FOOD AND EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE.

The Head Chef is responsible for training, scheduling, directing and managing food and dining to ensure residents receive the highest quality of customer service, efficiency and professionalism during their mealtimes.

Qualifications

• A passion for excellence.
• Be a progressive and creative thinker.
• Culinary degree desired.
• Experience working in Senior Living is a plus.
• Food and Beverage Manager experience.

Responsibilities

• Manages food supplies and personnel to operate efficiently within budget and health regulations.
• Manage, schedule, evaluate and direct the kitchen staff.
• Ensure a sanitary dining room complying with health codes and policies.
• Supervise and direct the cleaning of all dining and food services.
• Develop and implement training and policies for proper etiquette while waiting tables.
• Survey residents to determine satisfaction and make corrections as needed.
• Assist servers, cooks, and Dining Services associates in duties as needed.
• Ensure residents are greeted and seated properly and feel welcome.
• Supervise resident attendance tracking at meals and report safety concerns.
