Spring Gardens Assisted Living in Heber, UT is seeking a full time EXPERIENCED HEAD CHEF WHO WOULD LIKE TO MAKE AN IMMEDIATE IMPACT IN OUR RESIDENTS' LIVES BY PROVIDING DELICIOUS FOOD AND EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE.

The Head Chef is responsible for training, scheduling, directing and managing food and dining to ensure residents receive the highest quality of customer service, efficiency and professionalism during their mealtimes.

Qualifications

• Must have a passion for excellence.
• Be a progressive and creative thinker.
• Culinary degree desired; experience in senior living is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage, schedule, evaluate and direct the kitchen staff.
• Ensure a sanitary dining room in compliance with health codes and policies.
• Supervise cleaning of dining and food services areas.
• Develop training, policies and processes for proper grooming and etiquette.
• Survey residents to determine satisfaction and make improvements as needed.
• Assist servers, cooks and dining staff and cover duties when needed.
• Greet and seat residents, helping new residents feel welcome.
• Track resident attendance at meals and report absentees for safety.
