Job summary

Cedarhurst Senior Living is seeking a Dining Services Director to lead the community’s dining program, ensuring nutritious meals and exceptional hospitality for residents, families, and guests.

The role oversees the dining team, partnerships with vendors and leadership, and adherence to food safety standards while coordinating menu planning, events, and marketing support. Strong leadership and budget management are essential.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree with culinary training or 3–5 years of culinary experience.
• State/county licensure required.
• Food Manager Certification or ability to obtain it.
• CPR or BLS certification preferred.
• Experience managing dining staff and senior living dining services.

Responsibilities

• Lead all aspects of the community’s dining program.
• Supervise 10–15 dining staff members daily.
• Coordinate menu planning, food prep, and events.
• Manage budgets, inventories, and vendor relationships.
• Ensure food safety and infection control compliance.
