Job summary

ARAMARK SeniorLIFE+ is seeking a dedicated Dietary Aide to support the culinary team in a senior living community. You will help with meal service, maintain a clean dining environment, and ensure strict adherence to food safety standards while demonstrating compassion for older adults.

This role supports residents across assisted living, independent living, and memory care settings. Responsibilities include meal preparation assistance, plating, serving, and assisting residents with dining needs.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of service experience in healthcare, senior living, or hospitality preferred.
• Basic understanding of food preparation techniques, portion control, and food safety guidelines.
• Ability to read, write, and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Strong time management skills and the ability to work efficiently under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Assist in meal preparation and ensure meals are plated attractively for residents.
• Serve meals in a friendly, respectful manner while accommodating dietary restrictions.
• Monitor food temperatures to comply with health and safety regulations.
• Assist residents with meal trays, beverages, and dining needs as necessary.
• Prepare carts for meal delivery and ensure accuracy of tickets on trays.
