Job summary

Landmark Assisted Living is seeking a dedicated Dietary Aide to support daily meal service and resident nourishment in a warm, home-like setting. You will work with the Dietitian and Food Services team to prepare snacks, deliver meals, and maintain kitchen hygiene.

Responsibilities include inventory assistance, following safety protocols, and ensuring confidentiality of resident information while providing compassionate care to residents.

Qualifications

• High School diploma preferred.
• Must be 18 years old to be considered for Cook position
• Current food handler permit

Responsibilities

• The dietary aide works with the facility’s Dietitian/Director of Food Services as necessary and implements recommended changes as required.
• Performs other duties, as assigned to support meal service and kitchen operations.
• Assists with the service and delivery of food trays to designated areas, cleaning of the kitchen per established protocols, and proper washing and cleaning of food utensils and dishes.
• Prepares and delivers snacks as directed.
• Assigned Tasks: Serves meals in accordance to established portion control procedures; ensures meals are appetizing and palatable and delivered on a timely basis.
