Job summary

Bay Harbor Senior Living of La Crescent is seeking a Culinary Manager to lead all dining operations for residents, ensure nutrition and safety standards, and supervise food service staff. The role collaborates with clinical teams to meet dietary requirements and manage budgets and purchasing.

Strong leadership and 21+ with ServSafe/CFPM are required. The position offers full-time hours in La Crescent, MN with competitive compensation and benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and ability to obtain CFPM/ServSafe within 90 days.
• Minimum 2 years of management or supervisory experience.
• Must be 21+ and able to stand for extended periods.
• Good reading/writing in English and strong interpersonal skills with residents and staff.

Responsibilities

• Lead, supervise, and evaluate all dining staff, including hiring, scheduling, training, and performance management.
• Oversee dining operations: menu planning, food prep, and meal service for daily and special events.
• Collaborate with clinical teams to meet dietary requirements, including texture-modified diets.
• Develop and manage the department budget, monitor expenses, and oversee purchasing and inventory.
• Ensure compliance with health, sanitation, and safety regulations; maintain a clean kitchen and dining area.
• Lead inspections, audits, and corrective actions as needed.
• Engage with residents to gather feedback and improve the dining experience.
