Job summary

Immanuel invites a Director of Culinary Development to lead culinary strategy across senior living communities, driving innovation, dining quality, and resident satisfaction. This corporate leader collaborates with executives, culinary teams, and vendors to elevate Immanuel’s dining standards while ensuring regulatory compliance.

You will mentor staff, align menus with nutrition standards, manage budgets, and oversee program development across multiple sites, with travel to regional communities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Culinary Arts, Hotel/Restaurant Management or Administration is required.
• Eight years of culinary or related experience with five years in supervisory roles.
• ServeSafe Certification is required.
• Healthcare or senior living experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead culinary strategy and programs across Immanuel service lines.
• Develop menus, recipes, and ensure high-quality dining for residents.
• Oversee budgeting, vendor selection, and cost negotiations.
• Promote resident satisfaction and regulatory compliance.
• Develop and mentor kitchen and dining staff.
