Cogir Senior Living seeks an Executive Chef to lead the community dining program, including procurement, menu development, and budget stewardship. The role oversees food preparation, service, and staff, ensuring outstanding resident dining experiences.

You will manage menus, events, and daily kitchen operations while maintaining health code compliance and a focus on resident satisfaction and teamwork.

Qualifikationen

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Culinary education is preferred, or an equivalent combination of experience and education is required.
• Serve Safe Manager (Food Handler Certificate) with an understanding of kitchen sanitation and food codes.

Aufgaben

• Oversee day-to-day operations and staffing of the community kitchen and dining venues.
• Supervise culinary services staff, including scheduling, direction, performance reviews, hiring, and corrective action.
• Plan menus and execute meal preparation and events; assist back and front-of-house operations as needed.
• Maintain inventory control of food, beverages, supplies, and equipment.
• Ensure compliance with health codes and company standards in food preparation and service.
• Develop and manage monthly/annual budgets for dining services and document spending.
• Collaborate with staff and residents to tailor recipes and menus to preferences and budgets.
• Ensure resident and family satisfaction with dining experiences.
• Plan, prepare, and execute special events and themed meals.
