• Strong leadership, organizational, and management skills.
• Excellent communication skills with residents and culinary team.
• Knowledge of safety, infection control, and food safety principles.
• Ability to provide physical assistance to residents with mobility challenges.
• Proven ability to manage budgets, inventory, and vendor relations.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership and align the culinary department with the Community’s goals.
• Lead and mentor the culinary team to maintain high standards of service.
• Oversee daily operations of the kitchen and ensure quality meal service for residents.
• Monitor performance, implement improvements, and control costs.
• Develop and manage the culinary budget, food costs, labor, and maintenance.
• Review kitchen policies to comply with health codes and industry standards.
• Create and revise menus considering resident feedback and dietary needs.
• Engage with residents to gather feedback and foster community dining experiences.
• Organize special culinary events and negotiate with suppliers for quality ingredients.
• Conduct inventory management and staff training to ensure excellence.
