Ciel Senior Living is seeking an experienced Director of Culinary to lead our culinary team, shaping menus, standards, and the dining experience for residents and families. You will oversee all culinary operations, menu development, kitchen management, and food quality to deliver exceptional service.

Responsibilities include staffing, budget management, compliance, and collaboration with executive leadership to elevate dining across the community while ensuring safety and regulatory adherence.

Formación

• Culinary degree preferred.
• Minimum eight years of progressive food service experience with at least three years in a supervisory role and experience managing inventories and budgets.
• Experience in senior living or healthcare is a plus.
• Current ServSafe Certification preferred; obtain or hold required licenses/certifications.
• Good understanding of Excel and online food service ordering platforms.
• Strong communicator and manager capable of coordinating large teams.
• Extensive knowledge of 24/7 food service preparations and safety regulations.

Responsabilidades

• Post open positions, schedule interviews, and participate in hiring decisions with the Executive Director.
• Maintain safe, sanitary dining environments and provide high-quality dining experiences.
• Onboard and train Culinary Department staff; ensure training compliance.
• Provide coaching and performance improvement as needed.
• Communicate with team about company, building, and resident updates.
• Develop and maintain front- and back-of-house schedules within budget and quality standards.
• Plan and develop menus with line cooks; conduct monthly Food Committee meetings with residents.
• Budget management: monitor spend, forecast needs, and manage inventory to minimize waste.
• Ensure compliance with all licensing, safety, and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with Enrichment, Sales, and Executive Directors to elevate culinary services.
