Job summary

LCB Senior Living, LLC, The Lodge at Lewes location, is hiring a full-time Cook to deliver restaurant-style dining for residents. You will work with the Culinary Services Director and Executive Director to ensure satisfaction and program execution.

Responsibilities include meal prep, supervision support, and maintaining kitchen cleanliness. Must have Serve Safe certification and 1–3 years of cooking experience in healthcare or hospitality.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred; 1–3 years cooking experience in hospitality or healthcare.
• Serve Safe Certification required or preferred; ability to read recipes and follow production guides.
• Ability to promote excellent customer service and maintain sanitary kitchen practices.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals according to established recipes and menus.
• Assist with supervision of culinary staff as needed.
• Support the execution of dining enhancement programs for residents.
• Maintain clean, safe, and sanitary kitchen and storage areas.
• Open and/or close the kitchen and manage food ordering and receiving processes.
• Document temperatures and ensure proper food storage and handling.
