Job summary

Liberty Senior Living is seeking an experienced Cook to join our on-site culinary team. The successful candidate will follow recipes, assist with menu development, and ensure high-quality meals aligned with resident needs.

Responsibilities include food production, safety, dining experience, inventory management, and collaboration with the Executive Chef and other departments. Eligible candidates will have a High School diploma and at least two years of restaurant experience.

Qualifications

• High School diploma and 2+ years of restaurant experience.
• Operates standard kitchen equipment and follows safety procedures.
• Attends trainings and department meetings as required.

Responsibilities

• Food Production: follows recipes, assists with modification, and maintains quality and nutrition.
• Food Safety: follows safety, storage, temperature checks, and sanitation standards.
• Customer Dining: creates a positive dining experience and gathers feedback for improvement.
• Miscellaneous: manages inventory, reduces waste, and supports cross-department teamwork.
• Works to support Liberty Senior Living's mission and participates in special projects.
• Other duties as assigned, including during emergencies or events.
