Laurel Crest Retirement Community, part of Presbyterian Communities of South Carolina, is seeking a Lead Cook to support resident meals and a warm, homelike atmosphere. You will prepare menus, train staff, and ensure safe food handling with attention to dietary needs.

Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and two years of cooking experience in hospitality; preferred are culinary certification and supervisory experience in healthcare settings.

Responsabilités

• Prepare food per menu using standardized recipes and portion sizes.
• Schedule food preparation to meet serving times.
• Control portions and minimize waste.
• Prepare plates according to resident diets and meal plans.
• Maintain food safety by monitoring temperatures and sanitation.
• Assist with training kitchen staff on safety and procedures.
• Ensure equipment is cleaned and maintained.
