Job summary

LCB Senior Living is seeking a Cook for The Residence at Vinnin Square. The role involves serving meals in a restaurant-style dining environment and collaborating with Culinary Services Director to ensure resident satisfaction.

Candidates should have 1–3 years of cooking experience in hospitality or healthcare and possess Serve Safe certification. The position requires lifting up to 15 lbs, reading recipes, and maintaining sanitation and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Customer service mindset and ability to provide excellent dining experiences.
• Ability to supervise culinary staff and coordinate with leadership.
• Knowledge of food handling, safety, and sanitation practices.
• Able to read and follow recipes and production guides, and maintain logs.
• Minimum 1–3 years as a cook in hospitality or healthcare setting; Serve Safe certification preferred or required.

Responsibilities

• Provide high level customer service and promote a restaurant-style dining atmosphere.
• Assist with supervision of culinary staff and kitchen operations.
• Prepare and execute dining enhancement programs and special events.
• Maintain clean, safe, and sanitary kitchen, storage, and prep areas.
• Open and close kitchen; monitor temperatures and food safety records.
