Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Culinary degree preferred.
• Minimum of one year restaurant/senior living or equivalent cooking experience.

Responsibilities

• Exemplify cleanliness, sanitation and organizational standards at all times.
• Adhere to food quality, appearance and presentation standards.
• Prepare and serve menu cycles compliant with nutritional criteria and local regulations.
• Demonstrate cooking speed, accuracy and efficiency.
• Possess knowledge in all areas of cooking preparation and production.
• Assist with serving meals and ware washing as needed.
• Visit residents to evaluate food service quality, quantity, temperature and appearance; suggest improvements.
• Represent the community in a warm, inviting manner to support a positive marketing environment.
• Support driving top-line revenue and occupancy through engaged staff and sound decisions.
