Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• At least 1 year experience as a cook preferred.
• State/county licensure required.
• Food Manager Certification required.
• CPR or BLS certification preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and HR-related systems.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve foods per menu cycle and recipes.
• Ensure proper temperature control and food safety.
• Prepare dietary accommodations as directed.
• Coordinate meal production with serving hours.
• Maintain logs (temperature, taste panel) and cleaning schedules.
• Assist orientation and training of new kitchen staff.
• Follow safety and infection control procedures.
• Attend in-services as required.
